WALLY WONG
Wally Wong is an ex-Banker and PayPal alumni. He is also an interdisciplinary-minded professional across FinTech Startup, Payment, Technology and Banking industries with Digital Transformation as one of his multiple roles. His experience in Bank Transformation involves the commercialization of banking products through unconventional light-weight approach to onboard strategic partners in the ecosystem such as card schemes, acquirers, marketplace, technology companies and so on.
He also provided domain knowledge to, assisted, influenced and drove progress with internal stakeholders like Legal & Compliance, Credit and Transaction Bank to align technology solutions with business strategies. Not to mention the exploring of new approach in Credit Assessment with Credit Department and formulated Policy & Requirements with them, so as to tap the e-commerce and digital economy segments.
He was a Member of Expert Group on e-Commerce (EGE) for the HKSAR Government and Mentor of Google EYE Programme 2015.
